Happy Friday all! I'm sharing my love for Framebridge today! They did a great job and have such friendly service. Plus, it was super easy. These are a couple of photos I recently had framed by them. I took this first photo while walking the streets of Ocean Beach, scouting spots for a high school senior portrait session. The smile on the little dogs face on the right just makes me happy every time I look at it, and the other little guys eyes peeking over the dash... so sweet. This second photo is one of my dog Penny having a little meet and greet at the beach. What I really like most about this shot though, is the photo bomber on the left. Their packaging is also nice, felt like I was opening a gift : )

Having fun photographing dogs I see out on the town lately. I was in an Uber with my husband and mother in law, on our way to my niece's 4th birthday party, when I spotted this cool guy on the streets of downtown San Diego. When I say "guy" I'm talking about the dog of course. I love how serious they look in this whimsical photo. By the way, my mother in law thought I was crazy. This Dog is Going Places
I've been going a little nuts getting together packaging lately that I've sat on getting this post out. This will just have to do. So… this was our second trip to NYC and since we had seen all the major attractions the first time, we decided we'd just wandered around the city. We only had one thing planned and that was a Jack Johnson concert in Brooklyn. The concert was a lot of fun as usual. The Bahama's opened and they were great too. A little sad no Paula Fuga this time : (. Anyways… I thought I'd share a few photos, first up are a few pic's of some new art work we saw in Little Italy. Also, I have to give a shout out ( do people say "shout out" anymore?? ) to Da Gennaro's restaurant there. If you've been to Little Italy before you know there are maiter d's, I think that's what they'd be called…?, trying to get you to come into their restaurant. Da Gennaro's has the best, most down to earth, friendliest one, David. He made our experience! I love quirky window displays… & whaaat? A cupcake ATM? Awesome. This isn't the shot I was hoping for of the bridge. I didn't have my tripod : (. For a hand held shot though with my 24-70 2.8 at 1/25th, it's ah'ight. Love this old subway signage. We took a quick walk through Times Square our last night, not my favorite area, but fun to see the first time. I just had a thing for the subway signs I guess ; ). Caio!
Hey, how's it going? I thought I'd put together a little post to let you all know I'm going to be on vacation June 9th through the 16th. First up is New York with the hubs. We went to New York for our honeymoon back in 2008 and I fell in love with this city! We didn't get over to Brooklyn on our last trip though, so this time we will not only be taking in Brooklyn, we'll be seeing Jack Johnson in concert there! We'll also be cheering on the Ranger's as they compete for the Stanley Cup. Next up on our trip will be a visit to "the big D". We'll be meeting up with our sons and the rest of my husband's family to celebrate his grandmother Josephine's 90th birthday! She is such a sweetheart, can't wait to see her… of course we'll be enjoying traditional Polish fare for the occasion. We're also going to a Tiger's game while we're there, yay! : ) So excited for all of this and for the photo ops, which I'll be sharing when I get back. Until then , I hope you all are enjoying the beginning of summer & I'll leave you with one of Jack Johnson's latest. Enjoy! Go Ranger's! |
